Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller

The Bradley Cooper of the running club, Ryan Miller is truly an asset Manchester Running Company –if only for his dangerous good looks and boyish charm.

An all-around athlete, Miller is one of the top runners of the Mike Bendzinski generation, leading Manchester High School to the Class LL State title in 2002 and second place in 2003, along with consecutive runner-up finishes at the State Open in those years. The Miller-led MHS squad was 4th at the 2002 New England Championships as he took 25th overall to earn All-New England Honors in Cross Country. Miller was an All-State runner in XC finishing 15th his junior year.

On the track, Miller was just as dangerous, running the leadoff leg of the distance medley relay for the national-qualifying team in 2004. He was also on the 4 x 800 squad that finished 9th in the nation in indoor track in 2004. Miller helped establish new school records in virtually every relay event on the track and did it with a smile on his face.

In his hay-day, Ryan could put most people to shame on the track, today he can put most people to shame in pretty much anything. To prove how much of a man he is, he participates in a vintage baseball league in which the players don’t even wear gloves! Miller is also a fine general manager in fantasy baseball, and his personality is so magnetic, he is unable to carry credit cards.

After graduating from MHS in 2004 he went on to Quinnipiac University where he earned his degree in Business Management and is currently a consultant for TradeLink Technologies in Norwalk. Miller represents the company out of the Norwalk offices but comes back every year for the Manchester Road Race.
