Joy Wallace joined the group in December of 2009.  Joy helps us expand our membership to more neighboring towns as she is the first South Windsor resident on the roster.

A runner since the age of 28, Joy grew up in Hartford and her best running experience was finishing the 2009 Manchester Road Race.  Joy picked the perfect year for the Manchester Road Race and helped make the event the most popular it has ever been with a record number of over 12,000 finishers.  Joy is currently a student and when not in the classroom she can be found running or spending time with her husband Chris or her two children Emma (4) and Ethan who is just 18 months old.

Joy says her favorite thing about running is the sense of accomplishment she gets when finishing a run.  We are glad Joy is a member of our growing team!
