Fifth Annual Finally Spring 5k! and Rockville Bank Kids Run
One of MRC’s marquee events for the year, the Finally Spring 5k! is the perfect way to start your spring! A 5k trail race in one of Manchester’s best kept secrets, Howard/Porter Reservoir offers great trails and a picturesque reservoir loop. Proceeds from this event benefit Public Allies of CT. Cost is $15.00 for pre-registrants and $20.00 on race day for runners.
June 15, 2013 – 9:00 a.m.
The Life Without Limits 5k to benefit United Cerebral Palsy takes place in early September of each year. The 2011 and 2012 event featured Team Hoyt and is fantastic day! The race will start and finish at Globe Hollow on Spring St. in Manchester and is a 5k road race.
July 11, 18, 25, and August 1 (August 8th rain date)
Thursday Nights Under the Lights
Thursday Nights Under the Lights (TNUL) offers athletes of all ages and abilities a great summer activity as well as some stellar local competition. MRC hosts TNUL every Thursday Night for 4 weeks in the summer at 6:00 p.m. at Manchester High School. We offer numerous events from the javelin to the 5,000-meters, high-jump and many events in between.
