MANCHESTER, Conn., (April 28, 2012) – TicketNetwork of South Windsor has been named the title sponsor of Thursday Nights Under the Lights a summer track & field series held at Manchester High School. Manchester Running Company, which organizes and directs the all-comers meets made the announcement earlier in the week.

EAST HARTFORD, Conn., (April 25, 2012) — In a continued effort to support the local running community as well as non-profits in the community, Manchester Running Company is pleased to announce that it will sponsor Run MS, A Cinco de Mayo 5k. The race will be held on May 5th at Rentschler Field in East Hartford at 9:00 a.m.

BOSTON, Mass, (April 17, 2012) – Friends of Manchester Running Company took on the brutally hot Boston Marathon on Monday and by all accounts have survived.
Conditions were not ideal at all in Boston with temperatures reaching the mid 80′s and “on the road” temperatures peaking at 102 degrees. Despite all that, our friends toughed it out to run some great times, considering the conditions.

MANCHESTER, Conn. – March 16, 2012 — The Fourth Annual Finally Spring 5k! and Rockville Bank Kids Run takes place in just one week on Saturday morning, March 24, 2012 at Howard/Porter Reservoir in Manchester. All proceeds from the event will benefit Public Allies Connecticut.

While we at Manchester Running Company, of course, love our very own Finally Spring 5k! and Rockville Bank Kids Run, we also do enjoy other races! Every now and then someone will ask “is the Finally Spring 5k! a hard course?” Well to be honest, we don’t really know. We don’t actually get to run in the race, we are very busy attempting to put on a high quality event for all those who register and simply can’t get in the race.

January 18, 2011 – Manchester Running Company is pleased to welcome back Rockville Bank as a corporate sponsor for the Finally Spring 5k! Rockville Bank will directly sponsor the Youth 1-mile Fun-Run portion of the event on March 24, 2012.
The Finally Spring 5k!, which raises funds for Public Allies Connecticut has grown by over 35 participants in each year since its inception in 2009. The field for 2012 is expected to be over 300 participants with 50 youth expected to participate.
