MANCHESTER, Conn. — Manchester Running Company is pleased to announce it will once again be present at the Manchester Road Race Sports & Fitness Expo on Saturday, November 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bennet Academy on Main St. in Manchester.
The Sports & Fitness Expo gives Road Race participants and the public a chance to view local sports and fitness related businesses, register for the Manchester Road Race, buy Road Race T-Shirts and much more.

OCTOBER 4, 2011  — We strongly encourage you to register today for the 75th Running of the Manchester Road Race.  The capacity for one of Manchester’s finest traditions is 15,000 runners and that capacity was reached in 2010. To date over 2,500 runners have already registered. The event is held on Thanksgiving Day.

Spring Street Mile and LWL 5k September 3rd!

RESULTS
MANCHESTER, Conn., — Manchester Running Company is pleased to announce the second running of the Spring Street Mile and the first running of the Life Without Limits 5k will be held at Globe Hollow Reservoir in Manchester on September 3rd! Proceeds from both events will benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Hartford.

Gurzler Wins 8Furlongs Classic

EAST HARTFORD, CONN., — Manchester Running Company’s Jake Gurzler returned to winning form on Sunday, June 19th as he captured the 8Furlongs Classic held at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
Gurzler, expecting a payout of $500 for the winner, trained for the 8Furlongs Classic for the last few months and was ready to go come early Sunday morning. Summer Racing Season Right Around the Corner

MANCHESTER, Conn., May 2, 2011 — The 2011 summer racing season is right around the corner with several featuring Manchester Running Company club members and a number of events sponsored by MRC.
Following several spring marathon finishes for club members ranging from Houston to Las Vegas to Boston the MRC club runners are ready to dive into the shorter distances. Finally Spring 5k! Results

MANCHESTER, Conn. (February 27, 2010) – Manchester Running Company is pleased to announce Rockville Bank will be the title sponsor of the One-Mile Kids Run at the Finally Spring 5k! on March 19, 2011 at Howard/Porter Reservoir in Manchester.
The Rockville Bank Kids Run will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Ferguson St. adjacent to Highland Park School. The one-mile course starts on Ferguson St. before heading into the Howard/Porter Reservoir Recreation area and finishing again on Ferguson St. for a one-mile loop.  You can view a course map here.

MRC Club Runners Excel on Local Scene

MANCHESTER, Conn. – A number of outstanding performances have taken place so far this fall for Manchester Running Company club runners in distances from the 5k to the marathon.  Numerous personal-records (PR’s) have been established and the club members are gearing up for the Mayor’s Cup and the Manchester Road Race.

Run Fall Events with Manchester Running Co.

Manchester Running Company is pleased to promote the 74th annual Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving Day!  The 4.748 mile event is considered one of the best Road Races in the country featuring nearly 15,000 runners annually.  Some new features have been added for the 74th running of the race including a cap of 15,000 runners so register today!

MRC Runners Second at Ragnar Relay

Foxboro, Mass., (June 26, 2010) — Manchester Running Company took second place at the 193-mile New England Ragnar Relay over Memorial Day weekend.  The race traveled the roads of southern New England from New Haven, Conn. to Foxboro, Mass.
