Mary Flowers joined the MRC Club with her husband Damian in February of 2010 and is excited to be part of our rapidly growing group!  A Manchester resident, Mary says her favorite thing about running is that is is difficult, challenging and healthy. Her favorite events are Breast Cancer Awareness runs as they truly are some of the most inspiring events around.

Mary started running at the age of 19 and her best running experience came in 2009 when she ran her fastest 5k on Cape Cod and her favorite life experience so far is becoming an aunt.  Aside from running, hiking and spending time with family and friends are some of her favorite activities.

A native of Springfield, Mass., she attended UMass and Elms College, today she is a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital.
