Marc Katz says his favorite thing about running is that it is one of few things you can get better at with age! We could not agree more and we are glad people see running is not only an activity that can stay with you forever, but is something you can always improve on!

Marc joined the team in February of 2010 and is looking forward to setting a personal best in his favorite event, the Manchester Thanksgiving Day Road Race.  A current Manchester resident, Marc was born and raised in Holyoke, Mass. where he attended Holyoke High School before going on to UMass Amherst.  He started running at the age of 60 and looks forward to continually improving.

Aside from running, Marc is an avid Red Sox fan and is a teacher of the visually impaired in the Hartford Public School system.  Marc and his wife Mirna have two children, Michelle and Kevin.
